Two baseball fans, former Gov. Bill Owens and Gov. John Hickenlooper, are lending their names to a good cause.Two of Colorado biggest baseball fans, former Gov. Bill Owens and current Gov. John Hickenlooper, are joining up to help raise money to preserve the governor’s mansion.
The governors will be the special guests at a “Twas the Week Before Opening Day Reception” Friday night at the Brown Palace. Plenty of bold-face names are the hosts, including Steve Farber, Dick Robinson and Barry Hirschfeld.
The Colorado Rockies open their season at Coors Field on April 5.
